Zero-budget Guitar Production: I Recorded a Song Without Spending Any Money, Here’s What I Learned.

This article is aimed at guitarists and producers who are just starting out or those who have limited access to music production equipment. If all you have is a 2nd hand guitar and a 15w amp, you might be desperate to start recording music but feel completely stuck. Having spent the best part of a decade working in music education, I know there are young musicians capable of writing the best music we’ve ever heard, but they feel like they can’t begin because they don’t have the budget to buy a recording interface. It’s entirely possible to create great music using free resources and whatever musical equipment you already have at hand, and I’m here to share what I’ve learned over the last three months of trying to do exactly that.
